STAG DIESEL ENGINES 5 to 12 H.P.

Cold Start, Single Cylinder, Enclosed, 4-Stroke Cycle

  • Combustion: Mico (Bosch) Fuel Pump and spray type Nozzle along with open type combustion chamber in Aluminium Alloy Piston ensures complete combustion at different load.
  • Durability: Long and trouble free life to the Engine is assured because of ernplcyrnent of superior grade material for all important parts.
  • Bearings: Main Bearings are white-metal-lined steel backed Bushes. Top and bottom halves of Large end Bearing are white-matal-lined steel-backed Shells. Bushes for Valve Rocker, Camshaft and small End of Connecting Rod rare of Gun Metal of steel-backed Lead Bronze.
  • Lubrication System: Force feed by Plunger type Oil Pump to main and large end Bearings. Other working parts are splash lubricated.

Water Cooled, Totally Compression Ignition

  • Governing: Fixed speed Centrifugal Governor is mounted on the Camshaft Gear-wheel. Speed variation is controlled within limits to comply with British Standard No. 649/1949.
  • Rotation: Standard rotation is clockwise facing the flywheel.
  • Starting: The engine has trouble free starting" it starts by hand cranking.
  • Balancing: The engine is efficiently balanced with two balance Weights bolted on the Crankshaft
